Oysters, sourced from a local shellfish hatchery, are cultivated from the juvenile stage through to market size in a four-year cycle.
The method used is oyster bags on trestles in the inter-tidal zone, on the strand adjacent to our processing facility.
Oysters are taken ashore in bags to be washed, graded by weight, and packed to order.
